crash while booting

Hi all,
not sure this is the right place to ask for help
I have a redhat 64 bit guest on a win10 host, which crashes during boot. VM Settings are valid, no warnings there.
Using latest virtualbox 6.1.14.

"A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped."

Logs attached, I don't understand what happens. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hyper-V is enabled and needs to be disabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active). (The new test builds might have a fix for this problem. If you try a test build and it works, report here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=90853, and save the installer file.)

Thanks a lot, I love you :)

Indeed, this was caused by HyperV being active.

Actually, I did not explicitly enabled HyperV, my "Programs and Features" section in Control Panel does show it as unchecked.
But
I am using Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
Until recently I was using WSL1 (which does not rely on HyperV) and recently I had "upgraded" to WSL2 (which internally uses HyperV).
So, unlike WSL1, WSL2 uses HyperV which creates problems for VirtualBox.

Moved back to WSL1, disabled HyperV, my VM works with VirtualBox 6.1.4
(I had tried a test build for VirtualBox 6.1.5 too but I ran into other issues so I went back to the old working setup)

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it!
Chris

ps: seems like an old problem and source of frequent problems.
A warning at least could be useful.
Is there a way to contribute/help VB project with that?

Great! Glad you're up and running.

The devs are working on having Virtualbox run under Hyper-V, and gradually it's getting there. A few explanatory error messages might be useful, true. They may have reasons for not being so explicit, though.
