Without knowing the context of your seeing this error, it is impossible to advise you. In fact, the only thing in any of what you said that leads me to think this has anything to do with Virtualbox is that you posted about it in the Virtualbox forum. Other than that, I got nothing. Another point, web-searching "cannot create parent folder, check that it exists" site:forums.virtualbox.org, with or without the 'exact-phrase' double-quotes, shows only your post, nothing else.

The error I am talking about is quite common, and since we are in the virtual box forum I thought it was not necessary to specify it, but it does not matter, it is generated when wanting to create the virtual machine, when giving it the name and choosing the operating system to virtualize (at the beginning of everything), what happens is that I normally install the virtual box, but since I have no space on disk c: I changed the default destination of virtual machines to my disk F:, which is something that It shouldn't cause a major problem, it is done and most of it works, but not for me. and I already tried everything, everything that is within my reach.
all the tutorials that appear on the internet solving the same problem.
I do not know if it will be from virtual box or my pc, I am going to try vmware to get out of that doubt.
but I like virtual box and I would like to be able to use this one.

Thanks for letting me know. Web-searching the posted error phrase returned only your question post, so I could not identify the correct direction to begin troubleshooting.

Please zip and post the Virtualbox.xml file found in the folder 'C:\Users\{you}\.Virtualbox'. (Note the period in the folder name.)
