USB device not available on Windows 10, host

Hi,
I have installed vbox v 6.1.12 on Windows 10 (host), to be able to run Ubuntu 18.04 on it (VM). I need to connect an Arduino UNO usb device to the ubuntu machine, but the USB device is not available.
This seems to be a common issue so I tried every solution in google, even reinstalled vbox with admin right and the extension package but still the same.
The problem seems to be that there is no usb device available in the vbox in windows. Although the device is recognized in windows.
I appreciate if you can help.
