I am running virtualbox on Kubuntu host. Whenever I try to run a VM it crashes and logs out the host when it gets the the login screen. Can anyone help me figure out whats going on

No one can help without a VM log file. Make sure the VM is fully shut down, then right click it in the manager UI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
