Snapshot- I wish I hadnot done that.

Post by lledurt »

I am running WindowsXP on Ubuntu. It has worked great for about 4 years now without a crash.

I just had a small one and reverted to a previous snapshot thinking it would go back to the previous boot. It of course went back 4 years. I lost all my data(a few months). Is there a way to get it back?

Thanks in advance.

Only if you haven't written any file on the file system where the snapshot was stored on, you might be able to recover it with data recovery software. Else, too bad, data is lost.
