VT-x enabled in BIOS but Ubuntu stuck on black screen with blinking underscore during bootup

Post by WatItDew100 »

Hi as the title says I enabled Virtualization options from the Bios (originally they were but I switched off and on again trying to solve the issue) as other posts with a similar issue say but nothing has worked for me. I gave the machine maximum video memory (128 mb) and I am using virtualbox 6.1.12 with Ubuntu 18.04.02. I have attached the log file to this query, any help would be appreciated, thank you.
