HI all,

I've been trying to set up an Ubuntu virtual machine in my Windows 10 computer.

The installation process works perfectly. I can also add the Guest Additions, install some software and use the virtual machine a couple of times.

However, after some uses, the virtual machine shows a Guru Meditation error in the boot process.

I have created a second Ubuntu virtual machine, followed the same installation process, and the same happened again. There are no problems at first, but after booting it a couple of times (with no important changes done to the virtual machine between uses), the guru meditation pops up right after booting it up.

I have attached here the log file. Any help will be appreciated.

You are giving the VM RAM that you don't have. Sometimes this will cause the host to free up the RAM, at other times it will just error out. I would reduce your guest RAM allocation to 2048MB, plus 128MB VRAM (graphics RAM). I'm uncomfortable going even that high, because as is you can't even really afford that.

VMs are resource hogs, if possible you should shut down any other resource hogs you have running, and/or add more RAM to the host: 8GB is not really enough to run two modern 64bit desktop OS's.
