Hello everyone
Only just installed VM to start learning about Linux and familiarizing myself with the OS. I'm having an issue where when I boot my VM my cursor from my desktop gets automatically stuck top left whereas the cursor in the VM is in the middle of the window and I am unable to move this. Is this an issue that anyone else has come across? Any help would be appreciated.

Having such a mouse cursor problem is unusual.

Do you have any USB filters enabled that are blank or trying to point at the mouse? The mouse does not need a USB filter, and blank USB filters will grab all USB devices, including the mouse.

Shut down the guest, then look in the guest's Settings, under USB. disable all "USB Device Filters". Start the guest again and see what happens.
