How can I mount shared folder on windows from debian inside virtualbox?

I tried with the following command to mount shared folder on windows 10.

Code: Select all

mount -t vboxsf shared /home/user1/windows/
/sbin/mount.vboxsf: mounting failed with the error: No such device
How can I mount shared folder on windows from debian inside virtualbox?

If you want us to parse that you need to give us the data, for example the host share name: and what you're trying to share. Hopefully it isn't the host Windows folder, which presumably is protected.

Solved. I have installed kernel headers.
