OEL Failed?

I am running Win 7 in VBOX and have run into a problem that I don't know if its related to VBOX or not. I am using VBOX so that I can run Lotus 123 which will not run in Win 10. I have been using it with no issue for some months but today I had the program (123) freeze along with an error message. The message was as follows, "The OLE operation failed. Try restarting Windows. If the error persists try reinstalling the server application." Restarting Windows accomplished nothing and I have no idea what the server application is. Do I need to assign more memory to the VM? I believe I assigned it 4 gigs of ram when I set it up and I have 32 gigs available on the host machine. Any suggestions or ideas will be most appreciated.

I have taken a screen shot of my VMs specifications, it is attached.

In most circumstances when an error such as you posted happens in a running Virtualbox guest, it means Virtualbox is still working and the guest OS & program is having a problem it could have on a real PC. You'd troubleshoot using the OS or the program's help channels.

The 'OLE' error is not from Virtualbox. https://www.google.com/search?q=What+is ... e&ie=UTF-8

Thank you for the reply, interestingly if I boot the VM into safe mode the program runs without issue. Its a work around that I think I can live with. I have no idea what reinstalling the application server means and searching the term just leaves me scathing my head.
