Hello community,

Here is my scenario:

Computer 1:

a) Running VirtualBox 2.0.2 in a WinXP host.
b) Fedora 8 is installed (8GB .vdi file under .VirtualBox\VDI directory)
c) Fedora8 snapshots are in .VirtualBox\Machines\Fedora 8\Snapshots
d) Virtual Machine working flawless.

Computer 2:

a) New Windows XP installation
b) New installation of VirtualBox 2.0.2

My problems is transferring the snapshots to computer 2. I have successfully ran the main .vdi file in computer 2 but without any snapshots it gets to a point in the Virtual machine where I do not want to be (way before I compiled a lamp).

I have specify the location for the snapshot files in computer 2 (local disk) in VirtualBox, but it does not load them.

Any help will be appreciated.

You need to add them by 'hacking' the xml file. See the Tutorial: All about VDIs for some information about this matter.
