I have a XP Pro laptop an just installed Unbunto as client with VirtualBox

The laptop uses a built-in wireless connection
(Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection)

I have tried various approaches (NAT, Bridging to host connection, ICS)but can't seem to get the Ubunto VM client to see the network

Is this pretty much an unsupported, non working configuration?

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows XP and a wireless network adapter which is sill running VB 1.6.2.

I have an Ubuntu 8.04 guest and NAT works fine.

However, shortly after I start VB for the first time since I last booted, the wireless connection dies. I have to right-click on the icon in the tray and select 'Repair'. Sometimes if fixes it the first time. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 tries or even more to repair it.

Got the same wireless card, never had any problems with it in both Windows and Linux Host.
