Hello
I have windows 10 host and centos 7 on the virtual machine. I am trying to connect my computer to a board through an ethernet connection. I pinged on windows and worked fined. when i ping on the vm centos 7 it wont ping. I set my ip to 192.168.0.16 and to the board 192.168.0.2 and net mask 255.255.255.0. I added adapter to vm from the vm settings.I tried with bridge and with NAT. It seemed to work better with bridge but not successfully. If anyone can help me that would be great, because i cant communicate with the board.

Re: ethernet problem
To get the guest to talk to the outside board, use Bridged. See Virtualbox Networks: In Pictures: Bridged Adapter.
Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show in Explorer. Zip the guest's .vbox file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
After you get everything connected, try to ping between the guest and the host.
Also run 'ipconfig /all' on the host and 'ifconfig' or 'ip address' in the guest, and post the outputs here.
