Is there any definitive answer that really works on when using Windows 10 host with a Kali guest that opens maximized and will not show your mouse. I am really aggravated with this. I always try everything first before posting but I think I am going to start posting first. Fresh install of Kali on a new machine that has been fully updated. I installed Kali and did my first reboot to go back in and update it but now I cannot get my mouse. I have tried approximately 64 suggestions I have found and not the first one helps. Been working on this since 9am and it is now 12:50.
With this being an issue I would think after a few months some type of sure fix would be found.
Kali won't give up my mouse?

If the guest does not have Mouse Integration turned on, then when you click in the guest the mouse will get stuck inside the guest window.
Mouse Integration is shown in the guest's Virtualbox window's Status Bar at the bottom, at the far right, where the little mouse symbol is:
If your guest is maximized then it still will show the title, menu, and status bars. At the very right end of the status bar as shown above is the "host" key, which if you press it will release the mouse from the guest back to the host. Default Host key is Right Control. I have changed mine to Right Shift Right Control combination, as shown above. Tapping the Host key releases the mouse from the guest.
Some guests can have the mouse not capture in the guest without Guest Additions installed, if they can use the "USB Tablet" mouse in the Virtualbox settings. Other guests need Guest Additions installed to have Mouse Integration working.

O, guest additions is installed. I have tried Tablet mode and every mode with no luck. Killing it by killing the whole system has crashed once. I can't crash it again. Not even attempting to turn it on unless I know something that will get my mouse free. Got a ton of work to do and stuck here playing with this crap.

When the guest is running, can your mouse control the guest OS? If so you should be able to shut down the guest OS peacefully using the OS's Shut Down command.
Hit Right Control on your keyboard to release the mouse from the guest.
Do you have any USB filters enabled in the guest's USB settings? Disable them all for now.
If none of the above helps, please right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose "Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager". In the window that opens, zip the guest's .vbox file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

The second the guest boots. It's like there is NO usb control. Nothing responds in no way shape or form. I have tried Right Control, USB filters disabled, I have booted with only usb1, 2 and 3 with no luck. I will submit that in a few.
