VM not copying to clip board

Post by SJ789 »

Hey,

I've tried searching around for this but couldn't really find anything that fix hence why I'm here.

I have 9 Machines on the VM, 1 of the VM's allows me to copy and paste fine the other 8 just don't allow me to this, They are all Windows 10 to Windows 10 and all have the Bidirectional option on.

Anyone have any ideas?

Guest Additions must be installed in the guest OS for clipboard to be sharable.

If you think GAs are installed, start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
