When I attempt to install windows XP on an Ubuntu host, I get to the part to where it asks where XP should be installed. But the only choice it gives me is the partition where Ubuntu is installed. I have C: and a D: partitions, both formated with win32, but they do not show up.
I would like to install XP in either of them, but how to make them visible?
Thanks, José

Many thanks for your answer.
I looked at the suggestions you gave, and at various references, including ones I found on
Google.
But I am afraid that I am too new to this to understand how to do what must be done. It looks too easy to make a mess of things.
So I guess I will have to put the matter on the shelf for now.
But thanks anyway.
