I want to delete all snapshots except the last.
The snapshots are listed in tree form, i.e.
Snapshot 1
-----Snapshot 2
..........Snapshot 3
...............Snapshot 4
....................Snapshot 5
..........................Current State (changed)
In what order should I delete them? 1, 2,3, 4 or 4, 3 ,2 1?
Would it be better to just clone the machine and delete it?
Best way to delete snapshots

If this means the Current State, then cloning might be a wise choice, assuming you have enough host disk space.red7en wrote:I want to delete all snapshots except the last.
The benefit of cloning is that the original is left alone. The possible problem with cloning is that the UUIDs change, so activated OS's and apps might deactivate. If you have no activations to consider, then cloning is a really good choice.
If you want to leave Snapshot 5, then you can back up the fully-shut-down guest folder and all the guest disk files if they are in other folders besides the guest folder. After the backup, you can delete snapshots in any order.
