hallo zusammen,

Manuela

Virtualbox and Extension Pack versions must match. Downgrade the Extension Pack to 6.0.20's Extension Pack. Post back if you need help to do this.

Here is the 6.0.20 Extension Pack: https://download.virtualbox.org/virtual ... ox-extpack
You can get older builds of Virtualbox and their accompanying Extension Packs from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Download_Old_Builds. That's where I found 6.0.20's Extension Pack.

To change the Extension Pack on a Windows host PC, you must run Virtualbox as Administrator.

1. Close all Virtualbox windows and guests, and log out of your computer then back in again, on the same normal account.

2. Download the Extension Pack. Move the downloaded file to "C:\Users\Public".

3. Right-click Virtualbox and choose Run As Administrator. Provide an Administrator password if necessary.

4. In the main Virtualbox window, open File menu, Preferences, Extensions.

5. Right-click the existing Extension Pack and "Remove Package". Click "Remove" in the pop-up.

6. Right-click the empty box where the old Extension Pack was and "Add Package". Browse to "C:\Users\Public" and select the 6.0.20 Extension Package.

7. In the pop-up, click "Install". In the new pop-up with the license, scroll to the bottom then click "I agree".

8. If everything works well a quick Progress pop-up will appear, then another pop-up saying the installation was successful. Click OK, then OK again, then close Virtualbox and wait a minute for the Administrator privileges to clear.

9. Re-open Virtualbox normally, not as Administrator, and try the guest.
