Windows Visual Lag, Taskbar not showing, Explorer unusable

Post by jsn »

Hey guys,

I have installed Windows 10 on VirtualBox and am trying to run a program called "Vysor" that streams mobile phones to PC via USB. Unfortunately I seem to be getting so much lag and visual clutter that using any Windows function such as explorer, searches or changing settings becomes impossible. I have really know idea what is causing this and tried a few things such as dedicating more processors or RAM, but didn't get anywhere. My Host machine has a Ryzen 9 3900x, 64gig Ram and an Nvidia Geforce 1650 GTX.
I will attach the log files.
Any ideas?

You have 6 cores in the guest. These cores will only hurt until there's 6 cores' worth of data the guest has to shove through the CPU. More cores slow down a guest because of extra scheduling overhead required on the host.

Roll the guest cores back to 2 and try again.
