How to share snapshots?

Post by laion.luiz »

Hello there, I need a help with one thing, I want to know if I can share the snapshot that I have created with one VM.
For example, I have created a snapshot with the VM named "Ubuntu" with the name "SnapUbuntu", I can access this snapshot with another VM? If yes, I need to clone the .vdi of that VM named "Ubuntu" ?
How can I do that?

Thanks.

It's best not to do this. It is unknown what kind of errors you might get. If you really want to do it, it requires some hacking and we won't provide you with help if it fails. You've been warned ;).

You can take a look at the Tutorial: All about VDIs and see if you can hack it yourself.
