Goodday,

I have been working with my virtual box environment a long time without any trouble.
After upgrading to the latest version i suddenly can not start my machine anymore.
I was using version 5 before this upgrade. (Latest version 5 i think not sure anymore what version exact)

My guest host is Windows 10 and my VMBox is Windows Server 2019

Can someone explain how to get my machine running again or do i need to install a new one?
As you might have guessed i prefer not to install a new image. :(

I will add the logfiles for more details.

Johan

Disable Hyper-v.

I showed you the log, so there's no room for doubt here as to the cause of your problem. Make sure you try the "bcdedit xxx" command mentioned in the FAQ.

Yes it works now,

Strange enough hyperv was deactivated in the windows features. Only the bcdedit command did the trick and realy removed what was left of hyperv.
Now i can start my box again without any issues.

Thanks!

Johan
