I have set up Virtual Box on my machine which runs Windows 10. I am installing Kali Linux and during the network configuration, I receive an error that says "no default route was set".
Does anyone know how to go about setting a default route?
Thanks

Re: Network configuration - no default route set
"No default route was set" does not sound like a Virtualbox error to me. Did this error show itself in the Kali screen? If so, you might need to inquire in Kali's support channels or web-search what that error means.
Did you set up a new Virtualbox guest and install Kali from an ISO? Or did you download an OVA file and import the guest?
If it was a new guest with an install ISO, Virtualbox defaults to setting guests up with NAT as the network, which allows the guest to see Internet.
Either way, did you change anything in the guest's Network settings?
