guest in Bidged mode can be PING'd but not TELNET'd ????

Hi All,
I have a Win Host using latest VBox (6.10). I installed a CentOS guest, which is working fine. On that CentOS I installed Apache server so I have an httpd on port TCP/80. I've disabled SELinux and stopped firewalld.
I changed the default NAT in VBox to Bridged Adapter, since I want to see the apache web pages from my Win Host using any browser.
Result:
1. I can ping the guest from the host OK.
2. I cannot connect to the httpd using any browser
2.1 I also have cygwin+telnet. From cygwin I can ping OK, but telnet to port tcp/80 fails.
2.2 I also installed zenmap (nmap Win), and it cannot see the host neither with ICMP nor TCP (full scan says host down!?)
3. I have 2 computers (personal and work). Tried in both, and same result (both on the same LAN; personal doesn't have any firewall btw).
So, what could be wrong?
I'm using a LAN adapter on the host, so I'm using the same LAN adapter in the Bridged Adapter settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!
