If you're using a wifi interface for your host connection then there are known issues. Does it work if you use an ethernet connection?
You may be better off to raise a network specific topic in the main MacOS X host forum.

Is anyone successfully running VMs in Virtualbox 6.1.126 on Macos 11.5.2 Big Sur? I have tried most of the suggestions like uninstalling, reinstalling, etc. But the system preferences -> Privacy & security panel, General tab never shows a message about "Unapproved publisher" or anything like that, simply stays mostly blank, so I don't have a chance to grant additional privs. Just hoping that a patch is in the works at Oracle so their shinest newest version works on Apple's shiniest newest version :/
