1 vm's on 2 computers??
1 vm's on 2 computers??
Im running an Ubuntu guest vm on my win10 destktop (host) and have been using it for work. I would like to be able to use the same Ubuntu vm with all its settings/folders/files/ssh keys..etc on my win10 laptop. At home they'll be on the same network, but when I take my laptop and make changes its ok if it syncs/updates w/ the desktop when I get back home. Would like to have up to date before I leave home on a trip. Is this possible on virtualbox?

I would just copy the complete virtual machine folder from your work machine to your laptop when you were planning a trip. It would not just be similar, it would be identical.
Do the same in reverse when you returned.

Can I make this folder shared? I believe ive tried this with VMware player and did not allow me to do this, will try this with virtualbox.

Virtualbox itself does not have synchronizing to keep guests on different hosts identical.
To use the same VM in two hosts, you have two options: Put the guest folder on a removable SSD drive and move the drive between the two computers, or use 3rd-party synchronizing software (OneDrive, Google drive, etc.) to have the same data on both guests.
