I know this is a question of understanding the terms / semantics.
I'm running VBOX on a Windows Server.
I built a Linux guest. I made a snapshot - my base vm.
I built an application on the guest and debugged it. I had to go back to the snapshot a number of times.
Now it all runs and I want to make the snapshot the base vm.
I don't want to make a mistake and lose all the work I did.
How do I make the snapshot the base vm and remove the snapshot?
Guidance will be appreciated.
Mike

Re: Making a snapshot current
Make a full clone of the guest. The snapshot should be collapsed to a no-snapshot current state in the clone.
