Could not create Host-Only adapter after downgrade 6.1.0 -> 6.0.4

Hi everyone,

Due to the installation of a new software (Genymotion) on my pc, I had to downgrade from VirtualBox 6.1.0 to 6.0.4.
By doing so, I noticed that I was unable to Create any host-only adapter. The reason being the driver being not loaded due to some errors.

I have tried to do a clean uninstall of Virtualbox:
- Uninstall Virtualbox
- Delete Vb*.sys files from C:\Windows\System32\drivers
- Delete registry entries in HKLM/SYSTEM/Services/VB*
- Remove %user%/.VirtualBox
- reboot

Then perform a normal installation of VirtualBox.

I have even tried to reinstall the latest version I had before starting all this. The result is always the same (at least the symptoms are).

Information I found so far:
- During installation or during host-only creation (using GUI or VBoxManage), I can see the Network adapter for Host-only being loaded in device manager but with a warning sign (meaning it is not loaded properly).
- After this, the driver is deleted

My platform:
- VirtualBox: v6.1.4-136177 (dowgraded version 6.0.4-128413)
- OS: Windows 10 (1903)

The Report generated with VBoxBugReport is in attachments. I have trim it a bit to pass under the 250k limit.

Am I missing something ?

Thank you.

Any idea about how I could resolve this ?

I need to be able to properly erase Virtualbox from my computer and reinstall it as usual.
