I have looked around the forums and mostly people say "don't try this". But my need is very modest and it would be great if I could get passable audio.
I would just like to be able to use microsoft teams in my Fedora Guest, Windows 10 host. Teams is really the only thing I ever have to jump over to windows to do. The linux client works shockingly well actually. The one thing that doesn't work, and this isn't a teams thing, is no audio input. Output works fine but in Fedora it says it does not have an input device.
Virtual box has a rather unimpressive set of options to burn through. But none of the choices cause an audio device to show up. There don't seem to be a lot of things to try. But it seems improbable that this simply doesn't work at all.
In (somewhat) related news it would be nice if the laptop webcam worked too. But that is a far out "nice to have".
Any thoughts on what to do about "No audio Device" in Fedora 31 would be appreciated.
