I can't get 1280x800 with Windows XP guest

I am running Ubuntu Hardy 64bit as a host

i have setup Windows XP as a guest

how can i get 1280x800 as a resolution in Windows XP?

it is not even listed as one of the options in the Windows XP settings

with a normal installation this would be a simple matter of downloading the correct graphics driver but since this is a virtualbox installation i have no idea what to do

(my goal is to make it so when virtualbox is set to fullscreen mode it will take up one full side of my comiz fusion cube)

please help

Have you installed the Guest Additions in your guest?
