Problem to change the Screenresolution
I have in some Linux virtual machines the problem, that I can in step one change the Screen resolution (in the pull down menu), but for step two I can´t reach the Button to make the changes work, because the button is on the right Hand out of the screen of the virtual machine (600 x 800 pixel) which is (in DEBIAN) the given resolution after installation.
Hope that anyone has a nice trick in backhand for me.

What? Which Linux guest. which button etc. Please give more details related to your problem. Btw. different font colors do not help. They are annoying. Please dont use them.

Annoying is that i can´t post a "screenshot" of the problem, because it was "my first" post here!Whiskeyjack wrote:What? Which Linux guest. which button etc. Please give more details related to your problem. Btw. different font colors do not help. They are annoying. Please dont use them.
I use VirtualBox since years and had nerver this problem on virtual Windows machines nor on virtual Open Suse machines.
This is absoluetly new to me and i have tryed everything to get the problem solved.
Your question. "Which Linux guest?" It is DEBIAN --> debian-10.4.0-i386-netinst
Cinamon and Mint Mate both work fine.

Please provide a VM log file. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.
