Hi,

I'm working on a project using VirtualBox with Ubuntu environment. I didnt save the folder somewhere else and now Im confusing about how I can retrieve my code and all stuffs because of this error I couldn t start a session. Please how can I resolve this issue. Thks in advance

If your VM is in the Saved state, and you don't need it: In the VirtualBox Manager, right click on your VM and select Discard Saved State.

But I dont have that option " Discard Saved State" when right clicking on my VM.

Do you mean that Discard Saved State is greyed out and therefore not selectable, or that you cannot find it, because you ignored the VirtualBox Manager part of my answer?

oh sorry ... I meant I cannot find it and no I didnt ignore the VirtualBox Manager part because I have to launch VirtualBox first of coz

That doesn't make sense to me, and I still think that you misunderstood me. But let's find out:

In the VirtualBox Manager, there is a list of your VMs. If you right click on your VM inside this list, there is no Discard Saved State menu entry? Please post a screen shot of the VirtualBox Manager, including the context menu of your VM inside this list.

so far the language is german the translated version would be "gespeicherter Zustand verwerfen/ablegen" which I dont see in the options while right clicking? may be Im doing something wrong?

ooooh boy! I was confusing that with "entfernen", which means "delete" (the VM).

Well, sort of: Prepend means adding in front of it, on the left side. I deliberately even provided the space character for you.
