USB 2.0 is 10 times too slow

Hello, I have the following problem:
Setup:
Motherboard: GA-Z270X-Gaming 9 (rev. 1.0)
Host: Win 10 Pro 1903 build 18362.476
Guest: WIN XP 32-bit
Virtual Box: 6.1.6 r 137129 (Qt5.6.2)
Guest Additions: installed
Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.1.6: installiert
USB im Guest: USB 2.0 (EHCI + OHCI) aktiviert
USB device: several tested. Mainly an Eprommer, which is extremely slow. Speed test then made with a Kingston USB stick (USB 3.0).

Problem description:
The speed of the USB connection is 10 times too slow, about 4MB/sec, as you can see here:

Of course, I have already searched for the error on the Internet, but have not yet found the solution.
What to do?
Best regards

Word from forum gurus is that the Virtualbox USB2 implementation is somewhat old and kludgy and USB3 is much smoother, even when a USB2 device is being used. (whether this will solve your noted concern is unknown to me personally, though.)

Try enabling USB3 in the XP guest. Note that there are special 3rd-party drivers needed to put USB3 into XP, and a special vboxmanage command. See USB basics and troubleshooting, and the "USB 3.0 support in XP guests" link in post 6.

Thank you very much,
I will try this and post the result here.
To all others who use Win XP (32-bit) with USB 2.0: can other users cronfirm that they have fast USB connection?
(Maybe I did something wrong while installing)
Best regards
