Look, you really should stop patronizing me. This is not my profession but I have basic understand how packet is structured and what to look for. When I said "packets look like they originate from the Host" I meant it and everything that logically comes with it - IP, MAC, source/destination data is INDISTINGUISHABLE from the Host while being sent from the Guest. This is something I'd expect from NAT (and this is how it is with NAT) but not with Bridged.

Hence, why this thread exist. If I could just find answer via Google it wouldnt.

Hardly a calm response. Some folks just can't be reached. Enjoy your unrecognizable packets.

I came here telling you I have the issue is with Virtual Box and you completely avoided the question and steered the discussion into the direction "no, the issue is with you". What did you expect, that I'm going to waste my time troubleshooting non-existence problem? If you didnt have any answer you could have just said so, it is perfectly understandable.

Let me first tell you all, that I'm not feeling annoyed, offended or off-putted at all (at least not yet ;)). That being out of the way:

The information you (Digika) have given so far, contradicts my (our) common knowledge (and networking is my profession BTW). So in consequence, I cannot understand or explain what you're seeing without getting the information I asked for in my previous post.
