[Solved] A critical error has occurred...

Post by valex »

Hi guys,
"A critical error has occurred while running the virtual machine and the machine execution has been stopped" - I don't see any problem in the log file. How to find the reason?
Log file attached. Thank you

00:00:03.305305 HM: HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM: AMD-V is not available
00:00:03.362177 NEM: WHvCapabilityCodeHypervisorPresent is TRUE, so this might work...
Ditch Hyper-v.

See relevant FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests, especially posts #2 and later.

Windows Defender Security Center / Device Security / Details about Core Isolation

Value was on "one"

This set to off, but on the Regestrie with admin rights. Could not change the switch because it was greyed out.

Reg:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ DeviceGuard \ Scenarios \ HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity

set the value to 0.

0 = disabled (off)
1 = enable (on)

Reboot and problem was solved.
Thank You
