Hello,
i had no problem with this in past, but i got new pc. Wmware work flawlessly, but virtual box is extremely slow. I managed to install OS one time, but than it wouldn't even boot up and performance was terrible. VM Settings: I am using 6 cores, but i have 12 cores total, 4096 ram, dynamically allocated disk, nat, 256 mb video memory, 3d acceleration. Default paravirtualization method, tried other, didn't help.
I have intel i5 9600kf
Asus Z390 Gaming-i
3200mhz 16GB ram
NVME XPG8200 Pro
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit 1909
So i have no idea why my virtual machine is so awfully slow. I put that on NVME even... Also i tried to enable vt-d in BIOS, but that make things even worse i think. Otherwise there are no other setting as far as i know in BIOS.
Thanks for help.

Start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

By the way, according to Intel, your processor has 6 Cores not 12. See https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en ... 0-ghz.html
VirtualBox only cares about 'real' Cores, not 'logical' Cores or 'Threads', so you may be over-committing Cores, which could explain some random performance reductions.
See viewtopic.php?f=35&t=77413 for a fuller explanation.

What you were asked to do is post a zipped log. You posted no zipped log. So I don't see what you tried two or three times. You did what I asked 0 times so far...empleat wrote:Hmmmm, i tried that previously 2-3 times
