New to virtualisation & trying to install w8 in it.

The reason I try V BOX is that I hope to be able to install in it my oldies MS Word & MS FSX that do not go in W10.

I created an w8.1 ISO but I can not get on & install it.

I have my w8 pro CD I purchased from MS some time ago. Can I install the OS with this CD & how.

Any help will be appreciated. …...thanx …..nick

How exactly did you create an ISO?

You can either use it directly in the VM (mount the host CD drive in the VM virtual CD), or image the CD to an ISO file and mount that in the VM. The latter is usually a more pleasant experience.
