Hi guys and girls,
I am having a right issue trying to install my University Arch platform they have gave us.
I can't ask for their help since this part of the module is "help yourself" only.
Result Code:
E_INVALIDARG (0x80070057)
I have searched here and tried to restore windows and also check my drives for errors, to no avail.
Does anyone know what could be causing my issue? I was going to publish a photo here of it but can't.

Re: Problem installing Arch Linux
If Virtualbox shows an error message, post the text of the error message.
Start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Re: Problem installing Arch Linux
Hello Scott,
I have not been able to add the .ova they gave me.
I import the virtual alliance and get the following in the screenshot:
ibb.co/S04NJhd - Screenshot.
What I did notice, when I first attempted this is was working fine but I did something wrong in the setting so had to cancel, wish I never now! Heh.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing VB. Not sure what else to try or do.

Re: Problem installing Arch Linux
Two suggestions for help were given in my post. Please implement them.Smurfy wrote:Not sure what else to try or do
Post the screenshot, if you cannot re-type the error as text, also using Upload Attachment. Crop & resize to get under the forum's 128kB size limit. Forum gurus don't go to third party sites for things that can be posted with Upload Attachment.
Re: Problem installing Arch Linux
I could not perform those two suggestions because it did not even add as a guest yet.
Please see my attachment.
I have since added three more ova's the same way perfectly. It just has an issue with CyberOps.

Ah, that explains it, this piece of information should have been in the first post.Smurfy wrote:it did not even add as a guest yet
This error code covers several problems, and we can't see exactly which one from the info provided so far. Web-search:
E_invalidarg import ova site:forums.virtualbox.org
See what you can find out.

@Smurfy
Perhaps you could check your installation process against this Setup Guide: https://itexamanswers.net/1-1-1-4-lab-i ... chine.html
If it works as described, then remember your Uni's 'Help Yourself" requirement also allows Google skills
