Dear community,
I have not found an answer to my issue so far, so I am creating a new thread.
I tried to set up a virtual Mac (macOS Catalina) on my Windows 10 host. It all worked out fine except that my Bluetooth-headphones all of a sudden got disconnected from my host computer. I immediately tried to reconnect them via the Win10 Settings, but the system Always said "Connection issue - Bluetooth could not be activated" (see screenshot 1).
As I did not know what else to do, I uninstalled VirtualBox from my PC and deleted all ist files. However, it did not work out either then. I updated my bluetooth driver several times, both manually and via the BT troubleshooting application. I even reset my Windows Computer to factory settings. Nevertheless, it still does not work and the bluetooth driver still Shows the error "The device cannot be started (Code 10)" and "STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE" (see screenshot 2).
Is there anything I could do to get my bluetooth back to work? I would really appreciate your help and suggestions.
Thanks in Advance!
Greetings,
nick.laus

Re: Bluetooth does not work anymore - Win10 host
This setup is illegal unless the physical computer is a Mac. OSX guests on non-Apple hardware Virtualbox can't support illegal setups.nick.laus wrote:virtual Mac (macOS Catalina) on my Windows 10 host
If your computer really is a Mac with Windows installed, start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.
Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
If the computer is a regular PC, then best let this one fade away...
