Hi
I was running Virtual Box on Windows 10 version 1909 Home edition to use Windows XP 32 bit as VM.
I got the following message when I want to start Windows XP on VirtualBox Version 6.1 and 5.2 too.

Fallo al abrir una sesión para la máquina virtual WindowsXP.

The virtual machine 'WindowsXP' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1 (0x1). More details may be available in 'C:\Users\horac\VirtualBox VMs\WindowsXP\Logs\VBoxHardening.log'.

Código resultado: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Componente: MachineWrap
Interfaz: IMachine {85cd948e-a71f-4289-281e-0ca7ad48cd89}

The system was working perfectly until but one day to the other that error happen.
I reinstalled the VirtualBox many times.
I also ran it under administrator privilege, and nothing happen.
I am attaching the log file for your review.
Thanks in advance for any help

Horacio

The exit code is 1, see Diagnosing VirtualBox Hardening Issues

There is more than the usual, normally ignorable, errors about wintab32.dll and tablet drivers. Do you have a tablet input device on your host PC?, perhaps new drivers or an update?

Thanks for the info! Trusteer Rapport is a constant thorn in Virtualbox's side. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=88480 If you must run that software, it might run inside a guest.
