Ubuntu starting problem: Started session c58 of user gdm

Hi,
I followed the instructions on [1] as I had only some MB remaining disk space:
Now I cannot start Ubuntu anymore, I get the message:
And Ubuntu gets stuck here. I restarted the computer several times, waited for a long time. Nothing happens. Any idea what I can do?
It still worked before I followed this tipp:
