Corrupted .vhd (V2.0.2) (power failure)

Post by fma94 »

Due to a host freeze running two WinXP guests, I had to power off the host ...

One of my image is now inaccessible, even to virtual drive manager.
I have a message telling the image is corrupted.
What can I tempt to recover ?
Please see vdiinfo once image detached from virtual machine :

As the error/log states, the file is now an empty one. You could try some data recovery programs, but it's only of use if you didn't write any new files to your hard drive that has the VDI hosted on it.
