[Solved] E_FAIL80004005 - upgrade 6.14 TO 6.16

Hi,
Windows 10 Pro. I get E_FAIL (0x80004005) since I upgraded from v. 6.14 TO v. 6.16. I deactivate trusteer and trend.
I have attached, from .Virtualbox 'VBoxSVC.log' and fom the log directory (in VM) 'VBoxHardening.log'.

Looks like you also have Trend Micro. Windows 10 doesn't need it. But if you get Virtualbox running, sometimes the extra AV can be put back on and coexist.

The hardening log isn't finished, possibly because the guest window was still open?

The '0x80004005' is rarely the entire message. Please post the entire error message.

you were right, I had deactivated trend. I uninstall it and uninstall et reinstall VB and it's working...

Glad you're up and running! A full uninstall of secondary AV is often necessary. Have fun!
