Hi,

Actually i use virtualbox 6.1.6, on a Linux host, i wanted to know if someone have made a performance comparison between VirtualBox6 and a vmware workstation or fusion (i think this version doesn't exist on Linux).
I have some Windows and Linux guest machines. They are in saved state, and i search how i can speed up the restoration, to used them faster as it possible.

Depending on the OS I find that a regular shutdown can be faster than a save-state.

Also, guests in save-state may (will) not start if Virtualbox is up/downgraded.
