Greetings. Somebody suggested I might get some help here.
I have a Slackware Linux host running VirtualBox 6.1.2, and everything was working fine. Then I tried upgrading to 6.1.6, and my VMs started crashing mid-boot. The other forum said it looked like an ALSA stack problem. Indeed, turning off my audio entirely resolved the problem, except that (of course) I have no sound. Maybe somebody can look at my logs and help me figure out where to go from here?
I have a sample log from 6.1.4 installation. The error I'm getting is
VCPU0: Guru Meditation -8 (VERR_NO_MEMORY)
which doesn't make sense on its own, because I have 8GB of memory, and 4GB of that is free.
