Hello, Im using windows 8 in the host and xp in the guess.
I have tried with virtualbox 6.1.6.1, 4.2.6.8 and 5.2.0.1.
THE PROBLEM: I configure 1,2,3,4 processors, and at 100% and the guest get 100% cpu usage with a proccess when the host is just at 15%. So the guest is a little slow.
I configure in the host in the energy plan, advanced, all the cpu options at 100% and in the task manager priority high and afinity.
I dont know what to do for getting more cpu in the xp guest, wich recognize the 4 cores in the device manager.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

Please pick one scenario and provide a VM log. With the VM fully shut down, right click it in the GUI. Select "Show Log" and save "VBox.log" (no other file) to a zip file. Attach the zip here.

And be careful with your reporting when you post again. What's up with these version numbers? Virtualbox is a three-digit version number, like 6.1.4rodrivirtualbox wrote:virtualbox 6.1.6.1, 4.2.6.8 and 5.2.0.1.
