Guest Additions Oracle Linux 7.7

Post by csemen »

Hi,
I've installed OEL 7.7 on Virtualbox 6.1.4 windows host.
Then I've installed Guest Additions 6.1.4
All install seems to be fine but copy and paste does not work.
Icon show that mouse integration is on.
What can I check?
Thanks for support.

Check the guest settings, General, Advanced, shared clipboard.

If the guest is text-only, there will be no shared clipboard. An X window session must be running for Guest Additions to provide shared clipboard.

Hello,
thanks for support.
Shared Clipboard and Drag'n Drop are set to bidirectional.
The guest is running X windows.

OK, good. Start the guest from full power off, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.

Please zip and post a guest vbox.log, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
