Not-solved - mouse pointer disappears in text field on Win 10

Hi, despite this other link being marked [SOLVED] (well I can't post a link since I'm new apparently - search for it and you'll see it)
I actually have the same issue now in 6.1 on Win 10 guest.

Very hard to edit code when can't see where you are - see my post on that other thread - posting here so this is seen versus perhaps missed in a "solved" thread.

I have the same problem with cursor not showing in text fields (VisualStudio). I'm using 6.1.10, with Win 10 guest.
I did try some things and had limited success but not the final solution.
If I switch Graphics controller in VB settings to VMSVGA the cursor is showing but the screens resolution is not recognized and cursor has a black line artifact.
Also my laptop has Intel 630 and Geforce 1050. If I disable Intel graphics card in host, then the cursor is showing but the Geforce doesn't detect my external screens. So I can work only on my laptop screen.

Maybe some one else had some success?

I did try switching off HW acceleration in guest registry without success.

VMSVGA is only for Linux guests. VboxSVGA is for Windows.

Try disabling Settings > Personalization > Colors > Transparency Effects in your Windows guest.
