Hi, I'm trying to configure full-screen mode on my PC and second screen, but even though it says that it is using host display settings the resolution is not correct. I am on windows 10 & trying to run Xubuntu inside a VM.
I have played around with different settings inside VirtualBox to no avail. I also tried going to 'Display settings' inside Xubuntu and playing around with these but it doesn't pick up my screen resolution. There is also the issue that despite my screens been identified correctly, the screen that I selected as my primary display is showing opposite to what it should be.
Can you advise what best practice/default displays settings should be?
Also, how do I check guest add-ons are working as they should be ?
TIA

Re: Trouble with full-screen displays / guest add-ons
Start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.

Re: Trouble with full-screen displays / guest add-ons
Thanks for you reply. I have managed to get it working but it takes some playing around with, I have to repeatedly press Host Key + F, Host key + C and go back between the two before it picks up a usable resolution. Still can't quite get the max resolution for my laptop screen.
Here's my log (hope this is the correct one)
