Re: kernel panic
Pretend the Arch Linux OS is installed in a real PC and that Virtualbox is not involved, and search the Arch Linux help files, logs and forums.
For example, one Linux OS some forum posters were testing would run fine on Intel hosts but kernel-panicked on AMD hosts. Forum guru 'fth0' figured out that turning off the NMI watchdog in the guest fixed the kernel panic. Entirely solved within the guest OS, no Virtualbox settings to be changed.

can you please tell me how to do that Is that should be done in the vm's kernel means something should be changed in the vm's iso or is there any vboxmanage commands to do that

Re: kernel panic
I'm no Linux guru, unfortunately. The problem is inside the Linux OS, not in Virtualbox. Arch would know better how to fix a kernel panic in Arch.DONofDESTROY wrote:can you please tell me how to do that
How would you troubleshoot a PC? Turn it on, see what happens, Google what happens, and tweak things in the OS on the PC. For this guest, substitute "guest" for "PC" and do the same.scottgus1 wrote:Pretend the Arch Linux OS is installed in a real PC
