Why my host video Resolution in not the same in my client host?

Hi,
i have window 10 and virtualBox 6.1, my video adapter is Nvidia geforce gtx 1650 and in my host the resolution is 1920x1080.
Why in my client this resolution in not available?
is there anyone who can help me?

The video card in the host has nothing to do with that. The vm uses its own emulated video card, not the one in the host machine.

Have you installed the guest additions? That is the first step.

The guest resolution cannot ever be the same as the host because it is running in a window on your host display (unless you select Full-screen Mode from the View tab).

If you have the GAs installed you can drag a corner of the window to make the screen any size you like. Mine is currently 1718x963.
